The 2022 Bali Team Trip

A day spent with the ones you love is a day well spent.

I was thrilled to be reunited with my team after being apart for the past few years. They are the driving force behind BEL KAZAN and have become family. To say that I am grateful for them would be an understatement. They work so incredibly hard to bring my visions to life and your clothes into fruition. To celebrate their amazing work and spend some time together we decided to take a day off from the factory and have some fun! I left the itinerary up to them, as they know Bali best, and we rented a van for a day of adventure.
Our first stop was Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park.  No one in our team had ever been there so it was a must stop on our trip!

GWK is a fascinating 148 acre cultural park that draws visitors from around the globe and provides a glimpse into Bali’s heritage. Towering sculptures of stone and brass are scattered throughout the lush landscape. We were absolutely in awe of the size of detail.

Then we found at a local restaurant in Uluwatu for lunch. Everyone unanimously decided on Suckling Pig for lunch. It is a Balinese favorite.
After that we made our way to Uluwatu Temple. Uluwatu Temple, is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff above the waves. As one of the 6 key temples considered to be Bali's 'spiritual pillars'. To enter the temple you must wear a traditional sarong, as seen on Vem in the photo above.  Our team prepared all the beautiful offerings for the temple the night before and we brought it with us to leave for the Gods.

We ended our day at Melasti Beach. Everyone wanted a coffee break so sat and sipped as we enjoyed the ocean air.

Melasti Beach is often described as one of the best beaches in Uluwatu. The white sands and soaring limestone cliffs set against the blue water provide an absolutely breathtaking view.
There was so much joy on the van ride home; a palpable feeling of gratitude to be able to work with people you love. It was a day I will forever cherish. Sights were seen. Laughs were shared. And memories were made. My heart is so full.
